The Star City Comedy Club is a fantastic venue. “DJ Kidd” Carter knows what he is doing. The room is set up perfectly and everything is set for a comedic night, down to the littlest details from music to lighting. He was a fantastic host. This was my second time to the Star City Comedy Club. I had featured a year back for the hilarious Stewart Huff.
Roanoke is a great city. The people are nice, there’s a giant star, and the mountains are beautiful, making for a great drive. And usually, my wife, Elizabeth, isn’t able to join me on the road, but I was lucky enough to have her with me this time.
Tim Meadows is as cool as you’d expect him to be, which is, very cool. He was great to perform with and had the crowds roaring for more each night. Every single one of the four shows were sold out, and Tim killed each one.
A big thanks to DJ Kidd Carter and his Mrs. for helping make comedy in Roanoke happen.
